Do you build the pier on site?
Most of our pier structures are built in our shop, then loaded onto the barge and set with the crane once the pilings are in. Site work and finish work happen on the water.
Can you reach a shorefront with no road access?
Often, yes — that is exactly what our barge and crane are for. Give us a call and describe the site and we'll tell you honestly whether we can get to it.
Do I need a permit?
Waterfront work in Maine typically involves state and local review. We'll talk you through what your project generally involves, and permitting requirements are confirmed with the relevant agencies for your specific site.
Do you repair existing piers and docks?
Yes. We handle repairs, rebuilds and replacement of decking, framing, pilings and hardware as well as new construction.
